TSL Contractors Ltd has over a number of years played a key role as a delivery partner in a number of capital projects for Mull and Iona Community Trust. All these projects help us fulfil our Strategic Objectives which we identified after extensive consultation with the communities of Mull and Iona to address the socio-economic barriers to sustainability of our communities. The monetary value of the contracts over the last ten years or so amounts to several million pounds. However, the company is more than "just" a contractor to MICT. TSL actively help us to lobby stakeholders on issues like housing, apprentice schemes, market failure in the construction sector in rural areas like Mull and Iona. TSL Contractors Ltd demonstrate positive support for the local community in a number of ways including provision of community benefit clauses in construction contracts, making charitable donations both cash and in-kind to community projects and also engaging with the community when e.g. developing major housing developments on the island.
