HSQE Policy Statement

TSL Contractors is committed to protecting the health and safety of all people involved with our activities and thus achieving a safe and incident free workplace, with high standards of environmental responsibility and pollution prevention. To help us achieve our policy aims we operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) that is designed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality); ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) and all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and other applicable requirements.

We shall provide a high quality service to meet the expectations of our customers and stakeholders by delivering outstanding performance utilising competent personnel.

  • Prevention of ill health of our staff, subcontractors and members of the public.

  • Mitigation of foreseeable hazards through active risk management.

  • Ensure HSQE is integral throughout the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and disposal of our assets and services.

  • Provision of information, instruction and training that is relevant to a person’s duties and responsibilities.

  • Ensure sub-contract organisations manage HSQE in accordance with this policy.

  • Strive for continual performance improvement by identifying specific objectives and setting targets that are measured through performance monitoring and that are consistent with our policy aims.

  • The encouragement of constructive feedback from staff, subcontractors and customers.

  • Promote a culture in which all have the belief and desire to achieve these commitments.

TSL Contractors expects an absolute commitment from everyone involved in our work activities to take responsibility and be accountable for ensuring compliance with this policy, our HSQE Management Systems and current legislation and best practice.

This Policy is communicated to all employees and Sub-Contractors and is available to the public. All employees understand the importance of operating to this Policy, and are invited to contribute ideas for improvements. This Policy will be reviewed at least every 12 months.

Our HSQE Committee is responsible for regular monitoring and review of all our HSQE activities, and ultimate responsibility lies with our Managing Director, Andy Knight.
